Brijpal Sharma

I'm Brijpal Sharma, the creator and developer behind Build Wise Calculator. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and have more than 7 years of professional experience building software applications.

I started Build Wise Calculator to combine my engineering background with practical, real-world construction problems — turning complex formulas into simple tools that contractors, builders, and DIYers can trust and use in seconds. Today, the site includes 400+ calculators covering roofing, flooring, materials, unit conversions, and cost estimation.

Every calculator on this site is built around industry-standard formulas and construction reference data, and reviewed for accuracy before publishing. My focus stays on three things: accuracy, simplicity, and practical usefulness — so anyone, from a first-time DIYer to a professional contractor, can get a reliable number without the guesswork.

Let's build wiser, together.
