Step 1: Calculate Hydrostatic Pressure
Hydrostatic pressure at the bottom of the aquarium is:

- g = Gravity (9.81m/s2)
- H = Water height (m)
Step 2: Glass Thickness from Pressure
The thickness can also be estimated considering water pressure and safety factor:

- P = Hydrostatic pressure (N/m²)
- σ = Allowable stress of glass (N/m²)
Example Calculation
Let’s assume:
- Aquarium Height = 60 cm
- Aquarium Length = 100 cm

- Safety Factor = 3.8
Step 1: Apply simplified thickness formula
